Urvil Patel just created history at the Emerald High School Ground in Indore. The wicketkeeper batter who went unsold at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction just two days ago has just hit a 28-ball hundred in the Gujarat vs Tripura match in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2024-25. Urvil had set his base price at Rs 30 lakh, as most of the uncapped players did at the auction but did not receive a bid. Two years, he went to the Gujarat Titans but didn’t get to play a game for them.
